The MSDH Office of Health Equity is offering free Medical Interpreter training, a 3-day online course.
Medical Interpreter training caters to bilingual individuals seeking to enhance their interpreting skills and focus their knowledge on properly conducting a successful interpreting session in healthcare settings.
Training is open to all who have previously taken a minimum of 40 hours of Community Interpreter Training.
This course is offered at no cost.
Qualifying applicants should:
- Complete the registration form below.
- Be prepared to present proof of completion of Community Interpreter training.

- Orientation: Tuesday, July 9, 2024, 3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Day 1: Thursday, July 18, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Day 2: Friday, July 19, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Day 3: Saturday, July 20, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m
